Growing and growing and growing and not sleeping...

I think I'm growing...yipee.  Based upon the fact that my under 7lb clothing actually now fits, I must be throwing on some L-B's.  Kind of a relief if you ask me.  I was starting to look like a teenage "wanna-be balla" with all my baggy clothes and my dad keeps telling me I am going to a supermodel so baggy clothing is the last thing I need on my resume.

NGL, it's been a rough last couple of days for me.  These growing pains are really starting to p me o.  I can't hep it, but my legs fight one another all the time and then my hands get into a wrestling match constantly leaving me...the one up top looking down at all of this non-sense...wide eyed and especially wide mouthed (usually with some noise).  Someone please make it stop.

You should have seen me today - I'm pretty adorable.  So I have this new cozy front holder thing, called a Baby Bjorn (but my name is Taylor) and mom LOVES to throw me in that thing.  It's a win - win though because I love my friend Bjorn.  He cuddles me and puts me right to sleep everytime.  We've been on a few special dates so far together.  Bjorn took me to Whole Foods on our first date and then we had an extra special date on Yonge Street.  Ahhhh.  I'll show you some pictures of Bjorn as our relationship progresses.

I know I am a little behind with some pictures so I'll do my best to give some love this weekend.  Come and visit me if you haven't seen me in a while.

Happy New Year

I swear, Dad told me I was spending too much time on the computer and needed to spend more time outside playing which made it hard to say hello to you all.  I can't remember a crazier Christmas Holiday EVER for me.  In a nutshell, I went from party to party to another party to another party to visiting family to visiting another family yada yada.  Crazy days, but it was fun.

New Years was off the hook.  No joke, I stayed up pretty much all night (probably longer than most of you) after hitting up a party down the street at Allie and Charlie's pad.  We kicked it there for a while, but after a little trouble in my pants we made a quick dash for the exit.  Due to my lackluster taste buds only loving vanilla milkshakes, I passed on the beef risotto offer and left that to mom and pops.

Not sure the ball dropping in Times Square is all it's cracked up to be, but none-the-less I stayed up for it.  After my trouble earlier in the evening, pretty sure no one was going to invite me out to another party.  Speaking of New Years, why was Kelly Pickler co-hosting with Seacrest?  That's a joke - plus I couldn't understand the meaninglessness stuff she was saying.  Never say never, but I never will get plastic surgery if the end result is my face looking anything like Dick Clark's.  A NYE party, endless vanilla milkshakes, dinner with my parents and seeing the new LED ball drop , I'll give my first New Years two thumbs up.

2008 was a great short year, but I'm going to live 2009 up.  Below are my top ten new years resolutions:

1) Sleep more at night so mom and dad sleep more
2) Sleep more at night so mom and dad sleep more
3) Sleep more at night so mom and dad sleep more
4) Sleep more at night in my bassinet
5) Sleep more at night in my crib
6) Smile and laugh at and with people
7) Take baths on the regular before bed
8) Go outside for walks with mom and dad
9) Gain weight - yes, gain weight
10) Learn to crawl and maybe walk if I am lucky

By the way, how cool is it that I am not even 3 weeks old and I have lived in two different years.  Wicked.

Socializing

For someone who doesn't talk much, I continue to be the life of every party.  Had a party yesterday and people couldn't keep their hands off of me.  Had a party tonight, people couldn't stop whispering in my ear and telling me sweet nothings.

"Ahhh, Taylor you're so cute..."
"Ahhh, Tay, you're the best..."
"Ahhh, TTT, shmooopy shmooopy schmooo..."
"Ahhh, Taylor, I just want to eat you up..."
"Ahhh, Tay Tay, b-shzzzzzzzz-boooo..."
"Ahhh, Taylor, dooo budshzzzz szchooo szchoooo..."

I mean, people...I am so darn cute but you should hear yourself and the way you act around me.  I'm going to start video'ing you all so you can see how childish YOU are all being.  I love it, but I thought grown ups acted, just that.

Met my the Thompson side of my last name today.  Special people and I am lucky to have them come visit me in Toronto for a while.

The man in the red suit...

This day is all about the man in the red suit...I guess.  To me, it was just another day for me which translates to shuttin 'er down for about 20 out of 24 hours.  Even though I slept through the day and didn't pay attention to any gift given to me for which I appologize, I do appreciate Santa swing'in by the house and dropping some gifts off for my cousins.

A few things I need clarification on:
  • How did a fat man fit down that impossibly small chimney on St. Clements?
  • I am pretty sure I saw dad eating the cookies and spitting out the carrots and dumping out the milk, so why did people tell Michel that Santa's reindeers ate it?
  • How can Uncle Phil sleep longer than me?
  • Why do people give me clothes that are way too big for me?  Has anyone seen that I need clothes that fit NOW since I am so lickle!
After a scary oven fire with the Turkey, a big thanks goes out to Grandma and Grandpa Telfer/Woods for throwing a huge party with my uncles, cousins and the Wright family.

Merry xmas.

I'm Sorta Famous

Famous people get their names in the paper.  My name was in the Saturday paper, uh huh beat that.  For those of you who missed it, not sure HOW or WHY you could miss this, but just in the event you had something more important going on I have posted a photo of my name in the paper.  Won't be the last time my name prints, especially if I do end up getting that Goodyear gig.

Due to high demand following my article, I will be unable to respond to all interview requests especially with numerous holiday commitments already booked.  However, appearance bookings can be made through my publicist.

Big shout out to my new boyfriend, Oliver and his parents Meredith and Andrew, who also was interviewed for the Saturday Globe and Mail birth notice section.
