You all should see the snowsuit my parents tried to put me in yesterday before leaving the hospital. What a joke that was - it might have fit some of my 9 lb friends, but it wasn't quite the size for a peanut like me...yet. Very cute, but it'll have to wait a while. After a few hugs and kisses from the nurses for "ms. chubby cheeks" it was time to make the trip out of the hospital. I think my cheeks are my best feature actually.
I have to admit, I was kinda excited to go home even if my nonchalant behavior said otherwise (i.e. sleeping).
But dad, he was just a wee bit nervous about taking me outside those hospital doors. Apparently there is something called cold weather and wind chill...I've never heard of that before...so he got a little freaked out about that. We survived though and I never flinched a bit once exposed to this cold air thing they were speaking about. So in the car we went (by the way, nice car dad, but it needs a cleaning) off to MacPherson Avenue
Mom and dad gave me a tour of the house and showed me around - that took all of about 15 seconds. Although a little smaller than some of the other baby's houses I met at Mt. Sinai, I think I can survive here for a while especially with that sick 42" TV that Dad said I can watch Baby Einstein on. My room is quite cozy and I love the crib, but don't expect me to sleep there anytime soon by myself...maybe in a few weeks. I want to be with Mom and Dad for a while.
Grandma came by in the evening after work to help out for a while - thanks Grandma. She is a big help in bringing by groceries and dinner for Mom and Dad. I met some more people today, Ginnie and Emily. I think that's like 100 people over the last couple of days that I've met, but it's cool, I'll take all the attention I can get.
Not to boast or anything, but I am pretty brave. I took a bath in a big girls bath tub. Please sign me up for that again.
